Tips to Find the Best Deals on Amazon

Use “Sort by” and department categories

The easiest way to find epic deals on Amazon is to go to the deals page and sort the list by Discount: High to Low. This will move all items with the biggest discounts to the top of the list. However, you might have to scroll past a lot of books and magazine subscriptions to find what you’re looking for. Instead, you can narrow down your search even more by selecting a department category from the left sidebar on your screen.

Take advantage of Epic Lightning Deals

Some deals are so good that sellers have to limit how many items they put on sale. These are called Lighting deals because they can come and go quickly. To findEpic Lighting Deals, go to amazon.com/events/epicdeals, and scroll through the categories until you see the lighting icon. You will then see a countdown timer and a bar with the percentage of deals claimed so far.

Use Filters to find deals for specific items

If you are looking for a deal on a specific item (such as a blender), you don’t have to scroll through long lists to find them. Instead, you can search for the item like you normally would and tap Filter in the top-right corner of your screen. Then scroll down and tap Today’s Deals. This will filter out any items that are not on sale and only show you deals that apply to your search term.

Use a price tracking browser extension

Sometimes Amazon sellers will raise the price of items before they go on sale, which makes it seem like the discount is bigger than it really is. With browser extensions like Honey and CamelCamelCamel, you can check the price history of almost any item on Amazon and compare it to the price on other sites. These extensions can also send you alerts when the price of an item drops below a certain level.
